LumiTex is a light-transmitting keder fabric made of 100% polyester. In an illuminated frame the light is spread evenly, so your image lights up clearly and sharply; it also works unlit. We print up to 307 cm wide. The fabric is made in Nijmegen and can be collected from us on Betouwstraat.
The fabric gets a 200% full-colour print for powerful colours. We print using sublimation: the ink sinks into the fibres under heat. Thanks to the water-based ink, the fabric hardly smells and recovers well from creases, so you can fold it up without the ink cracking. The soft-touch top layer feels soft and gives a slightly glossy textile look, but makes the fabric suitable for indoor use only.
You choose between cutting or a flat keder. If the fabric goes into an illuminated frame, always choose the flat keder, so that it fits the frame properly. Allow a safe margin of 3 cm all round: logos and text in that edge may be lost during finishing.
If you need a fabric wider than 3 metres in one piece, or want to use it outdoors temporarily, choose Samba UV. It is printed with UV ink, up to 494 cm wide, and has a lotus effect. It does have a strong smell temporarily, and without light you mainly see dark colours.

Put the fabric in the frame; the tension pulls the creases out by themselves, although that can take a few days. In a hurry? Then you can iron or steam it.
With warm water and a fibre cloth. Washing at 30 degrees is also possible.
