Flag CiCLO® is a transparent polyester flag fabric with a fine texture. It is just as strong as ordinary flag fabric, but thanks to the CiCLO® finish it is biodegradable. You put your flag together below and collect it from us in Nijmegen, or we ship it.
Flags hang out in wind and weather and wear down slowly. With ordinary polyester, microplastics are released in the process. CiCLO® is added to the fibres during production, so that in the environment they behave like natural fibres and break down at roughly the same rate as wool. In less than four years more than 90% has broken down, without leaving microplastics behind.
The flag is printed on one side; because of the open structure, 98% of the print is visible on the back, as a mirror image. The fabric lets wind through, is weather-resistant and flame-retardant, so it is suitable for indoors, outdoors and public spaces. Think of banner flags, beach flags, façade flags and construction fence banners. The ink is not UV-resistant, but it only fades after the flag's service life. Due to stretch and shrinkage, the size can deviate by 1 to 2%.

Outdoors about 3 to 4 months. Bring it in on time, especially from wind force 6, and it will last longer.
Flag is the basic option with a classic hem. Flag Longlife does not need hemming thanks to its coarse structure. Flag PET is made from recycled PET bottles; Flag CiCLO® is biodegradable.
With sublimation: the ink is heated to 180 to 200 degrees and penetrates the fibres. The water-based ink is odourless.
