Blackback ReNew∞ is a keder fabric that blocks light, just like Blackback Soft, but fully recyclable. It is 100% polyester without a PU coating and made of 30% recycled offcuts and old banners. Your print stays clearly visible and the soft-touch front feels soft and luxurious. You put it together below; collection is possible in Nijmegen, and we can also post it.
The fabric blocks light through a mix of white and black yarns, not through a coating. As a result it consists of a single material and is easy to recycle. Old fabrics are chemically recycled: the polyester is broken down into its building blocks and rebuilt into new yarn. A sewn-in label shows that it is a ReNew∞ fabric.
Indoors, at trade fairs and in shops: as keder fabric in a fabric frame, or as a banner. In a frame with stabilisers, you can't see the stabilisers through the fabric. It also works in a lightbox, if one side must not let light through; you then combine it with Samba Backlit or Lumitex. The fabric is printed using sublimation, with odourless water-based ink that doesn't crack when folded.
With a plastic e-lock tool you quickly press the keder into the frame and the fabric is pulled taut. Creases? Iron it on the wool setting, with a tea towel in between if you like. Clean it with warm water and a microfibre cloth, without cleaning product. It cannot be washed.
Blackback Renew∞ is the first blocking keder fabric designed entirely for recycling.
No, the fabric is for indoor use only. There it lasts for years, although a lot of incoming light can have an effect.
Iron it on the wool setting. The fabric can take heat, but a tea towel in between is extra safe.
With warm water and a microfibre cloth. Do not use detergents, as they can damage the ink, and do not wash the fabric.
