Poster printing in Nijmegen
A poster is the quickest way to announce something: an event, a shop promotion or a vacancy. At Drukkerij Nijmegen on the Betouwstraat you can have posters printed as a single copy or as a full run. Order online, or drop by if you would rather see and feel the material first.

The pixel counts assume 300 DPI for A4 and A3 (which you view up close) and 150 DPI for A2 and larger (which you view from a distance). Have a fixed frame, alcove or window? Then print the poster to size, made to fit exactly.
A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm) is the most popular large poster size: big enough for a shop window or event, and still easy to hang. Make sure the text in your design is large enough to read from a few metres away.
A0 (84.1 × 118.9 cm) is the largest standard size, for a hall, trade show or long corridor. Work with a high-resolution design or in vector, and it will stay sharp at that size too.

For posters from A2 upwards, 150 DPI at the final size is usually enough, because a poster is viewed from a distance. When you upload, you can see straight away whether your file is sharp enough.
Choose a waterproof poster or a garden poster. Ordinary poster paper is for indoors: outside it cockles in the damp and the ink fades in the sun.
An A1 poster is 59.4 × 84.1 cm. For a sharp result, your design then needs at least 3508 × 4967 pixels.
