A5, square and DL are easy to handle on a table. If you have an extensive menu with many dishes or photos, choose A4 or A3. You also decide whether the menu is folded or unfolded.
HV semi-matt and HV satin (300 or 400 gsm) are sturdy and coated. You can have these laminated in gloss, matt or soft-touch matt; the card then lasts longer and you can wipe it clean with a cloth. Natural board (300 or 350 gsm) is uncoated and writable, but cannot be laminated. Synaps (300 gsm) is synthetic paper: water-repellent, tear-resistant and usable outdoors for a short time, for example on a terrace.
