Choose 8.5 x 5.5 cm (landscape or portrait), 9 x 5 cm (landscape or portrait) or a custom size, unfolded or with a single fold on the left or top. Paper includes 300, 350 or 400 gsm satin coated (gesatineerd mc) or silk coated, 300 gsm Tintoretto Gesso (hammered) and 280 gsm Constellation Snow (linen-embossed). Print 1 to 3 PMS colours or full colour (4/0), also double-sided (4/4).
Choose a gloss, matt, soft-touch matt or scratch-resistant matt laminate, on one or both sides. As spot finish per side you can pick high-gloss spot UV, raised high-gloss spot UV (40 μm) or foil in gold, silver, rose gold, copper or red. You can also choose rounded corners (3.5 or 7 mm radius), drill holes of 3 to 6 mm, 1 to 5 creases, a custom shape (die cut), sequential numbering or personalisation from Excel. Your cards come in standard packaging or in a business card box. Good to know: silk coated paper without laminate is prone to scratches and marks, rounded corners are placed by hand and are therefore not always perfectly aligned, and a custom shape gets brown edges from the laser cutting, most visible when the edges are unprinted. Foil on an uneven material such as Tintoretto Gesso will not sit completely crisp, so details can fill in or drop out.
Supply your design with 3 mm bleed on all sides and keep text and key images at least 3 mm inside the trim line. Use images at 300 dpi. Mark foil, spot UV, cut lines, drill holes, perforations and creases on a separate layer in a spot colour set to overprint. For numbering, use a spot colour named 'Numbering'; no PDF proofs are sent for numbered orders. You can download a template with the exact dimensions in the product builder.
Build your own business cards: choose the size, paper, print and finishing, then upload your design. With optional spot UV and foil.
