There is a moment each year when a T-shirt is just not quite enough. That is when you grab the sweater that always hangs over your chair. That is exactly the piece you want with your own logo, club name or design on it. Looking for sweater printing in Nijmegen? Kariban makes sweaters and hoodies in so many styles that there is one for everyone: from organic cotton to extra thick 360 g/m². We have picked our favourites and print them in our workshop in the centre of Nijmegen, starting from a single piece.

In short

  • ✓Sustainable? Choose the organic Organic line, in more than thirty colours.
  • ✓House colour? Basic+ comes in more than forty colours.
  • ✓Team look? Lifestyle hoodies come in two and three colours.
  • ✓Outdoors or draughty? Go for 360 g/m². Hot wash? Pick a 60 °C model.

Organic sweater printing: soft on you, kinder to the soil

Kariban's Organic line is made from certified organic or recycled materials. Organic cotton is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilisers, and you can feel it: the fabric is lovely and soft. Thanks to a three-thread construction Kariban calls LSF (Low Shrinkage Fleece), these sweaters keep their shape wash after wash. You can choose from more than thirty colours, from sand and sage to a warm red.

Ideal for a business that takes sustainability seriously, or a club that simply wants to look sharp. A small logo on the chest and text on the back always works well here.

Look at the raglan sleeves on the K480 and K481: they run diagonally up to the neckline, giving a sporty, relaxed look. The zip hoodie is handy if your team likes to wear something open over a T-shirt.

Hoodie printing in your club colour: Basic+ and Lifestyle

Kariban's Basic+ sweaters are clean and minimalist, with soft brushed fleece on the inside. With more than forty colours, there's always one that matches your brand or your club shirt. Kariban designed them specifically for printing: a smooth, even surface where your logo sits crisp and sharp.

Want more character? Then the Lifestyle sweaters are for you. They come in two- or three-tone versions, with a contrasting hood or with small patterns. Perfect for sports teams and clubs: put your club name on the white panel of the three-tone hoodie and you instantly have a recognisable team piece.

Tip for teams

Choose one model in a different colour per group, for example pink for the youth team and purple for the coaches. Same print on all of them, and it still looks like one whole.

Printed jumpers for outdoors: 360 g/m² for when it gets really cold

For anyone who works outside, stands on the sidelines or sits in a draughty workshop, Kariban has sweaters of 360 g/m². That heavier weight adds extra warmth and a firm, structured fit. They don't sag and keep a sharp, tidy look. They also have the LSF construction, so they keep their shape after washing.

A large print on the back looks great on such a thick fabric. Think of your company name across the full width, or a number and name for the supporters' club.

Washable at 60 °C, and lovely and light in French Terry

Do you work in care, a kitchen, childcare or cleaning? Then you want clothing you can wash hot. Some of the Kariban sweaters can go in at 60 °C. Kariban pre-shrinks the fabric before sewing, so the sweaters keep their shape and look after that hot wash. According to the brand, that makes them ideal for a hygienic wash. Great when your clothing is worn every day.

Prefer something lighter? French Terry is smooth on the outside with small loops on the inside. That lets air circulate, so the fabric feels soft and breathable. Kariban calls it ideal for in-between seasons: just that bit of warmth without getting too hot.

Where does your logo go on a sweater or hoodie?

A sweater has three strong spots: the chest, the back and the sleeve. A small logo on the left chest is the classic choice for companies and practices. On a hoodie, mind the pouch pocket: keep a centre front print above it. We use these sizes as a guideline:

Left chest8–10 cmwide, for a calm company or club logo
Centre frontup to 28 cmwide; above a hoodie’s pouch pocket max. about 20 cm high
Backup to 30 × 40 cmfor a big design, club name or number with name
Sleeve7–9 cmon the upper arm, or a narrow text along the forearm

Guidelines; the digital proof shows exactly how big your design comes out on your size.

Which printing technique suits your sweater?

With us, you choose per position (chest, back, sleeve) how you want it printed. Is your logo one or two colours? Then cut vinyl is crisp and strong. You choose from 104 vinyl colours, including neon, gold, silver and metallic. Is it a photo, a colour gradient or a design with lots of colours? Then it's full colour DTF, which also looks great on dark fabric. On the product page you upload your logo and see which positions are available for that model. You always get a digital proof first, and we only start pressing once you approve it.

Washing your printed sweater

Sweatshirt fabric likes a gentle wash. Wash your printed sweater or hoodie inside out, with the zip closed and without fabric softener, and preferably keep it out of the tumble dryer. Choosing a model that can go in at 60 °C? Let us know when you order: for workwear we use sturdy vinyl that can handle washing at high temperatures.

Prefer a knitted jumper or a cardigan? Have a look at jumpers and cardigans. All hooded and crew neck models are under sweaters and hoodies, and we also print the B&C sweaters in our workshop.

Frequently asked questions about sweater printing

Can I have just one sweater printed?

Yes, we print from a single piece. Handy for having a sample made first, creating a gift with your own design or ordering extra sizes later for new team members. You always get a digital proof to approve first.

Where can I get a hoodie printed in Nijmegen?

In our own workshop at In de Betouwstraat 40, in the centre of Nijmegen. You can drop by to feel the fabrics and compare colours. We then press your hoodies ourselves, and you pick them up or have them delivered.

Which sweater is the warmest?

The 360 g/m² models are the thickest in this range: sturdy, warm and with a structured fit. For the in-between seasons, the French Terry sweaters are lighter and breathable. Not sure? Get in touch or drop by our workshop in Nijmegen.

Will the print last if I wash at 60 °C?

Let us know when you order that you want to wash at 60 °C, and we will take that into account when choosing vinyl or transfer. Wash inside out and preferably not in the tumble dryer, and a well-pressed print stays looking good for a long time.

Can I get a quote for sweaters for a larger group?

Of course. Request a quote with your design and the quantities per size, and we will help you choose model, colour and placement. For a roomier, bolder fit, also have a look at our blog on printing oversized hoodies.
