Facade advertising made in Nijmegen

Facade advertising made in Nijmegen

Your façade is the first thing customers see of your business, often from a distance. With façade advertising, you make it clear who's there and what you do: a Dibond façade sign in the shape of your logo, a banner or kiosk flag at right angles to the façade, or stickers and a window flag on your windows. You put it all together online, from 1 piece.

…

Your building as a signboard

Facade advertising works in three directions. A board flat against the facade you see straight on and from across the street. A banner or flag at right angles to the facade you see as you walk or cycle along the shopping street, precisely when you can't yet see the board on the facade. And your windows tell passers-by at eye level what's on offer inside. In this category you'll find a solution for each of these three: the facade board and aluminium board, the banner and kiosk flag, and the window flag and window stickers.

Printing on Dibond: the facade board

Dibond consists of two thin aluminium sheets with a plastic core. This makes it rigid and flat, even in large formats, and resistant to weather. You can choose the facade board in 3, 4 or 6 mm, and in the finishes Budget, Digital and Butler Finish. Thin sheets are fine for a board that rests against the facade over its entire surface; for a large board that hangs at only a few points, a thicker sheet gives more rigidity. With Dibond XL, you get widths of up to 400 cm from a single piece, without a seam. The board is water-repellent, has a fire certificate and is routed into any shape or contour-cut along your design. Double-sided printing is possible on Dibond Budget 3 mm, handy if the board is visible from both sides.

Aluminium board for indoors and outdoors

The aluminium board is light and sturdy. You get it up to 300 x 146 cm from a single piece, and with the XL variant up to 400 x 196 cm. Choose Butler Finish for a brushed aluminium look, where the metal remains visible through your design, or a matt or gloss coating with Premium and Digital. Matt gives less glare when the sun shines on your facade. This board is also routed into any shape or contour-cut, with drill holes.

At right angles to the facade: banner and kiosk flag

The facade banner is 60 or 80 cm wide and up to 2.5 or 3 metres high, printed double-sided on Banner 610. The black core ensures the print doesn't show through, and the fabric has a B1 certificate. You combine it with a right-angled stainless steel banner bracket. For indoors, there's the indoor banner in 60, 80 or 100 cm wide, with a length of your choice.

The kiosk flag comes in three standard sizes and two materials. On Banner 610 it's printed double-sided and legible from both sides; Banner 610 is blockout, so the print doesn't show through. On Flag Longlife it's single-sided, and the back shows your print mirrored. Both materials have a fire certificate. You can order a facade pole, facade pole holder and handy stick directly alongside.

Your windows: window stickers and window flag

Window stickers go up to 148 x 750 cm; larger stickers we split into sections, with 1.5 cm overlap per section. You choose white, transparent, crystal-clear, sandblast or one-way vision film, with removable or permanent adhesive, or static with no adhesive. With white print on transparent film you create special effects, and a matt or gloss laminate protects the print. You'll find more stickers under stickers. The window flag hangs from any window with a suction cup, without drilling. It measures 55 x 80 x 59.5 cm and is printed double-sided on opaque Banner 610, so it's legible from both inside and outside.

Visible in the evening: the light box

If you want to stand out after sunset too, take a look at the light box in the outdoor advertising category. LED lighting from behind illuminates a 5 mm clear plexiglass panel with Day & Night print, up to a maximum of 3 x 2 metres, in a waterproof frame.

Permit for facade advertising

A facade board usually hangs for years. Advertising that hangs for more than 31 days a year counts as permanent and often requires a permit. So before ordering, check with the municipality what's allowed on your building. On the outdoor advertising page we've listed the Nijmegen rules for you.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a permit for facade advertising in Nijmegen?

Often, yes. Advertising that hangs for more than 31 days a year counts as permanent and often needs a permit, and a facade sign usually stays up for years. Always check with the municipality before you order; our outdoor advertising page lists the rules.

Can I look at materials for my facade sign in Nijmegen?

Yes. Drop by at Betouwstraat 40 in the centre of Nijmegen. We show you the difference between Dibond in various thicknesses, Butler Finish and the types of window film, and help you think about size and mounting for your facade.

How big can a facade sign be?

With Dibond XL you make a facade sign up to 400 cm wide in one piece. The aluminium sign goes up to 300 x 146 cm, or up to 400 x 196 cm in the XL version. You order from 1 piece, in the size that fits your facade.

How do I mount a facade sign?

When ordering, you choose drill holes and, if you like, stand-offs. With stand-offs the sign sits slightly away from the facade, which gives a clean, floating effect. Plan the holes so they do not fall through important text or your logo.

Can I have Dibond milled in the shape of my logo?

Yes. The Dibond facade sign is milled into any shape or contour-milled along your design. Upload your design with the contour you want; that way it is not a rectangle hanging on your facade, but your logo itself.

What is the difference between a vertical banner and a projecting flag?

A facade banner is a narrow, tall strip 60 or 80 cm wide and up to 3 metres high, on a right-angled stainless steel bracket. A projecting flag hangs from a facade pole, in three standard sizes, and comes single- or double-sided.

Can window stickers be removed later?

Yes, if you choose removable adhesive or static film without adhesive. For a sticker that needs to stay on for a long time, choose permanent adhesive. A matt or gloss laminate protects the print against scratches and cleaning.
