You hang the strips butt-jointed on a wall that you have coated with wallpaper paste. Removing it later is done dry: the wallpaper can be stripped off completely.

Wallpaper adhesive such as Perfax Roll on, mixed with water. On a surface that does not absorb moisture, such as a board or tabletop, you need high adhesive.
With warm water and a lint-free cloth, without cleaning product. Cleaning products can damage the ink.
Preferably not: if the wallpaper gets wet, mould can develop. For a bathroom, a textile frame is a better choice.
