Printing Oversized T-shirts and Hoodies: the Native Spirit Oversized Line
24 September 2026 · 3 min leestijd · DrukkerijNijmegen.com

Oversized is no longer a trend that comes and goes: the loose silhouette with the shoulder seam sitting further down the arm now hangs in almost every wardrobe. For merch, your own clothing line, a band or a student society, it's often even the first choice. Native Spirit has a complete line for it, made from organic cotton — and we print it right here in Nijmegen.
The new oversized T-shirt: NS352
The NS352 is the newest addition. At 180 grams per square metre, it sits exactly between airy and sturdy: it falls loose, but doesn't sag out of shape. The fabric is 100% combed organic cotton with a smooth, even surface — exactly what you want when it needs a print on it. Both cut vinyl and a full colour DTF transfer sit crisply on it.
You can choose from six colours: Ivory, White, Driftwood, Black, Paprika and Organic Khaki, in sizes XS to XXL. For children there's the NS353: the same fabric and the same colours, from 4 to 14 years. Handy if you want a whole club, school or family in the same line.

A loose fit requires slightly different placement than a regular shirt. Three tips from the workshop:
- Chest print a bit higher. Because of the dropped shoulders, everything on an oversized shirt sits lower. A print at the usual height soon ends up too far down; that's why we place it a little higher — as on the hoodie below.
- Dare to go big. An oversized shirt or hoodie has more surface area. A wide print across the chest or a large full colour back print therefore comes into its own even better — typically something for merch and anniversary wear.
- Washed is unique. With washed garments, the shade differs slightly from piece to piece. That's part of the look and gives each shirt its own character; the print itself remains the same.
No brand label at the neck
Native Spirit's oversize line is 'no label': there's no manufacturer's brand label at the neck. That makes it a great basis if you want to release clothing under your own name. On top of that, everything is made from organic and recycled materials. Want to know more about that? Read the story of Native Spirit.
