New from Native Spirit: printing boxy T-shirts and roomy hoodies
2 October 2026 · 7 min leestijd · DrukkerijNijmegen.com

Roomy, heavy and a touch rugged: that's what the new Native Spirit collection looks like. The brand that has been known for years for clothing made from organic and recycled materials is changing course with more volume, new proportions and an extended outdoor line. Want to print Native Spirit clothing for your own merchandise, team wear or club wear that doesn't feel like a standard shirt? We print the new models in our workshop in the heart of Nijmegen, from as little as one piece.
What's new in the new Native Spirit collection?
The keyword this season is volume. Native Spirit itself calls it "volume gets a new dimension", and you can see it throughout the collection:
The brand is also expanding the models without a brand label on the neck ('no label'). This makes the collection extra suitable for making it your own brand.
Roomy, heavy and a touch rugged.
Boxy T-shirt made from organic cotton: the T-shirt reinvented
The big newcomer is the boxy T-shirt, in a men's model (NS348) and a women's model (NS349). Shorter and roomier than a classic shirt, with a square silhouette and dropped shoulders. Both are made from 100% combed organic cotton of 180 g/m², with a smooth surface that a print sits nicely on. Want even more fabric? Then the new oversized T-shirt NS351 of 250 g/m² is your model.
Tip for a boxy shirt
On a boxy shirt, a print works slightly differently. Because the shirt falls shorter and wider, a logo placed high on the chest or wide text across the back looks extra strong. You press a clean logo in one colour with cut vinyl; an illustration or photo with lots of colours is done in full colour DTF, even on black. Prefer to browse first? You'll find all the models in our T-shirts section.
Printing an oversized hoodie: heavier fabrics, more volume
The sweaters are also following the trend towards more fabric and more volume. New are a unisex oversized hoodie (NS452) and a matching oversized hoodie waistcoat with zip (NS453). Combine them with the new loose-fit Bermuda shorts (NS779) and you have a complete, relaxed set for your team, your group of friends or your own merch line.
An oversized hoodie has a large area on the back: ideal for a substantial design, with a small logo on the chest as a counterpart. On the waistcoat with zip, people often choose a small logo on the left chest and a large one on the back. For more inspiration on roomy fits, read our blog on printing oversized T-shirts and hoodies, and you'll find all jumpers and hoodies in the sweaters and hoodies section.
Printing a bodywarmer and workerjack for outdoors
The outdoor line is growing significantly. There are new quilted bodywarmers for men (NS6007) and women (NS6008), cut roomy so they fit easily over a hoodie. The checked overshirt NS523 is quilted and has a rugged lumberjack look. And the washed workerjack NS611 got new colours and an extra size.
Think of a volunteer team at an event, a landscaping business or a club that trains outdoors: with a logo on the chest and the name on the back, everyone recognises you instantly. For quilted and thicker fabrics, you'll see on the product page which positions and techniques are available for this model. Also check out our bodywarmers and jackets.
Complete the look: bags and new colours

A collection isn't complete without accessories. The new half-moon bag (NS119) is a generous crossbody you wear diagonally across your shoulder, a nice extra with a merch package. The backpack (NS109) goes well with the outdoor line. And the well-known favourite NS330, the unisex T-shirt with dropped shoulders, got new colours.
Not every position allows every technique on bags; on the product page you'll see which positions and techniques are available for this model. You'll find more bags under bags and luggage. Want to know more about where the brand comes from? Read the story of Native Spirit.
Where does your logo go on boxy, oversized and outdoor pieces?
Roomy clothing calls for different proportions. On a boxy shirt, a logo placed high on the chest looks strong; on an oversized hoodie, you have a large, calm area on the back; and on a bodywarmer, the logo sits fixed on the chest with the name on the back. We use these measurements as a guideline:

How to go about it
Frequently asked questions about printing Native Spirit
What's the difference between boxy and oversized?
A boxy shirt is shorter and wide, with a square silhouette. An oversized shirt is roomy and falls longer. Both have dropped shoulders, so they both sit nice and loose. B&C also works with boxy: read our blog on printing boxy T-shirts.
Can I have a single boxy T-shirt printed?
Yes. We print from as little as one piece, so you can try a few shirts first and reorder later. Handy if you want to test a new merch line or want to see how the boxy fit falls first. You'll always receive a digital proof first.
Can I put a design with lots of colours on a black hoodie?
Yes, with full colour DTF, a photo, gradient or illustration with lots of colours can also go on dark fabric. For a clean logo in one or two colours, cut vinyl is a great choice, with 104 foil colours, including fluorescent, gold and silver.
Can I have a quilted bodywarmer printed?
That's possible, but with quilted and thicker fabrics, the available positions and techniques differ per model. You'll see this on the product page. On the back, we take the baffle channels into account, and in the digital proof you'll see how your logo turns out.
