Soundmesh is perforated PVC fabric with a very open structure. Sound and wind pass straight through, which is why you often see it used as speaker cloth. We print it in Nijmegen; collect it on Betouwstraat or have it sent, both are fine.
We print soundmesh on one side only, up to 494 cm wide in one piece. The fabric weighs 180 g/m² and is matt. It is similar to Polymesh, but can be printed wider. Fabrics larger than 5 x 5 metres are joined together and shipped folded.
Soundmesh is flame-retardant and therefore suitable for dressing events. It is also water-repellent, so it works well outdoors. Finish it with clean cutting, hems and eyelets or tunnels.
Because of the open structure, a print looks less powerful than on solid fabric. So work with plenty of contrast, and your message stays clear.
