Backlit fabric is made to be lit from behind. The fabric distributes the light evenly, so your whole image lights up sharp and bright, day and night. It weighs 450 g/m². We print it in Nijmegen; you collect it on Betouwstraat or have it sent to your home.
The fabric gets a 200% full-colour print: two layers of ink on top of each other. Backlit, that gives a strong, bright print. Unlit, the colours look very dark, so really use it for a lightbox or illuminated frame.
Backlit fabric usually goes in a lightbox, but a banner is also possible. It is water-repellent and flame-retardant, so you can use it both outdoors and in public spaces. Banners larger than 5 x 5 metres are assembled from parts and shipped folded.
You can choose from cutting, eyelets, a tunnel, a round keder or a flat keder. Backlit fabric is harder to tension than other keder fabrics. Is your fabric hanging high or in an awkward place? Then have one side cut clean, so that you can tension it with a plug-in keder, and allow some extra length or width.
