Polymesh PVC-free is a polyester fabric without PVC with an open, slightly glossy structure. At 110 g/m² it is light and quick to hang. It is also known as Lochfilet, after the small holes in the fabric. You collect it from us on Betouwstraat or have it sent.
Thanks to the small, oval holes, the fabric lets wind and sound through. It does not tear or fray and is crease-free, so it can be shipped folded instead of on a roll. Because sound passes through it well, it is a regular choice for speaker cloths at events.
Besides as speaker cloth or site hoarding fabric, you use polymesh for flags, banners, scaffolding and the finish line of an event. Indoor use is possible too: the fabric has fire class EN-13501: B-s1, d0 and may be used in public spaces. Shops choose it for the sound-absorbing, non-reflective fabric without PVC.
The print is 98% visible on the back, as a mirror image. Due to stretch and shrinkage, the size can deviate by 1 to 2%. Finishing options are cutting, tape with eyelets, D-rings, cord or hooks, hook-and-loop tape or a tunnel.
Polymesh PVC-free is, as the name says, a polyester fabric without PVC.
3 to 4 months outdoors, years indoors. UV light and weather affect the lifespan.
With sublimation: the water-based ink is heated to 180 to 200 degrees and sinks into the fibres. The print is odourless and 98% visible on the back.
