Wrapping a car or van with Orajet® 3951RA+ ProSlide

This white cast film is made for car wraps and other 3D shapes, but works just as well on flat and slightly curved surfaces. With a little heat it forms itself over curves and into deep grooves. The grey adhesive layer stops the paint underneath from showing through. We print it in Nijmegen, up to 148 cm wide in one piece.

Slide, rub, fixed

Thanks to the ProSlide property, you slide the film into place until it sits right; only when you press it down firmly does the adhesive bond fully. The RapidAir® air channels in the adhesive layer let you rub the air out, so you work quickly and without bubbles.

Colours that hold up outdoors

We print this film with eco-solvent ink, with a wide colour gamut. The gloss laminate makes the film more resistant to heat and moisture. Handy for a car that stands in sun, rain and changing temperatures every day.

Where does it rank among other wrap films?

It sits between the entry-level films and the top-tier films. Compared with Avery® MPI 1104 it lasts longer (7 years against 5) and gives more certainty on complex shapes. 3M™ IJ280 and Avery® MPI 1105 EARS conform even further and are even easier to reposition.

?How long does the film last?

Expect 7 years outdoors. Sunlight, weather and the surface also determine how long it looks good.

?My wrap consists of several strips. What about the overlap?

When submitting your file you specify how many parts you want it in. We allow for about 1.5 cm of overlap ourselves, so you do not need to put that in your file.

?Can I also have a flat sticker made from it?

Yes, the film can also be applied to flat and slightly curved surfaces, and we can cut it to the contour of your design.
