Have Clear View window film printed

With the 3M™ Scotchcal™ Clear View IJ8150 you get a print on glass while the rest of the window stays clear. Both the film and the adhesive layer are as clear as glass, so where it is unprinted you simply look straight through it. You see it on glass walls in offices, building windows and car windows. Printed in Nijmegen, available to collect at Betouwstraat or to be sent.

Visibility or privacy, you decide where

Where you print, you get privacy; where you leave it blank, the view stays clear. With white ink you control this even more precisely: less white is more transparent, more white is more opaque and gives stronger colours. We print colour with water-based latex ink and white with UV ink.

For glass and acrylic glass

The film is 50 µm thick and fits flat and slightly curved surfaces of glass or acrylic, including on the inside of the window. It is flame-retardant and so may be used in public spaces.

?How do I apply Clear View to a window?

Clean the glass and make it grease-free. If wet application is possible, wet the window and adhesive layer with application fluid, fix the film in place and squeegee the moisture out from underneath calmly and evenly. Dry application? Fix it at the top and work evenly downwards.

?Tip for the protective sheet?

The backing sheet comes off most easily if you hold the film with the print side against the wet window.

?How long does the film last?

Count on 7 years indoors. Exactly how long depends on factors such as sunlight and location.
