With laser-cut labels the edges are burnt away, which can cause a little adhesive residue to build up along the edge. If you apply by hand you won't notice, but a labelling machine can jam on it. With die-cutting, the contour is cut out under air pressure with a custom-made die, without build-up.
You choose from self-adhesive matt paper, gloss paper, white film or transparent film. The films are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the paper for indoor use. The labels are printed with UV ink that dries and cures quickly, is weather-resistant and does not fade easily. Good to know: this ink is glossy. Even on matt paper the print has a sheen; only the unprinted areas stay matt.
