Waalkade and Stevenskerk under snow

This aerial photo shows the Waalkade in the centre of Nijmegen under a layer of snow, with white houses and rooftops lining the quay. In the background the tower of the Stevenskerk rises above the city, and a ship lies moored on the river Waal at the right. The grey, cloudy sky gives the winter scene a soft, muted feel.
