Fireworks over the Waal and the Stevenskerk

Evening aerial photo of fireworks bursting over the river Waal, taken alongside the tower of the Stevenskerk in Nijmegen with its illuminated clock face. The rooftops of the city centre fill the foreground, and Lent lies across the river. The sky on the horizon glows red beneath dark clouds. The fireworks were photographed during the Vierdaagse.
