Why hi-vis clothing with a logo?

On a building site, during roadworks or as a traffic marshal at an event, almost everyone wears hi-vis. That's exactly why it's hard to see who belongs to which company or organisation. A logo or text on your safety vest or hi-vis jacket solves that: clients, visitors and colleagues can immediately see who the contractor is, who's from security and who's from the organisation. A printed hi-vis vest with a name is also handy for a sports club organising a run or a school with crossing patrol staff.

In this category you'll find 67 items from, among others, Yoko, Result Safe Guard, Regatta Professional, Shugon, Bagbase and Spiro – from vests and polo shirts to softshells, bags and rucksacks.

What can you have printed?

Logo on the fluorescent panel, bands left clear

With reflective clothing, one fixed rule applies in our workshop: the reflective bands remain clear. We only press the logo onto the fluorescent panel between or above them. Those bands are there to make you visible in the dark, and nothing should cover them.

You can see which standard a garment meets on the product page. If you're working for a client with their own requirements for hi-vis clothing, check these in advance; we're happy to think along with you about a modest logo that fits well.

Common positions:

  • Backbetween or above the bands, often 20 to 25 cm wide: company name, 'Traffic marshal', 'Organisation' or 'First aid'.
  • Chesta small logo of 7 to 9 cm on the fluorescent panel above the band.
  • Sleeveon jackets and polo shirts with sleeves, 6 to 8 cm.

Which technique and colour?

Hi-vis clothing is usually made of polyester. Both techniques work well on this:

  • Cut vinylcrisp, opaque and easy to read from a distance. Ideal for a logo or text in one or two colours. Black or navy on hi-vis yellow and black or white on hi-vis orange give the most contrast. You can choose from 104 vinyl colours; for workwear we use sturdy vinyl that withstands washing at high temperatures.
  • DTF transferfor a full-colour logo, with gradients or many colours.

Polyester withstands less heat than cotton, so we press hi-vis at an adjusted temperature. With open mesh fabric, we check in advance whether a logo will adhere properly; smooth fabric gives the crispest result.
