Why a bodywarmer with a logo?

A bodywarmer is the garment for people who want to stay warm without their sleeves getting in the way. Think of a market trader at seven in the morning, a gardener pruning hedges, a warehouse worker pushing roll containers, or a coach on the sidelines. It's also increasingly worn in the office, over a shirt or jumper. Because the chest and back are open and flat, a bodywarmer is also very suitable for printing: your logo stands out immediately, even when someone wears a jumper underneath.

Which bodywarmer do you choose?

Quilted

The classic bodywarmer with quilted chambers and a filling of down or synthetic down. Light, warm and compact to fold up. There are separate men's and women's models, such as the quilted men's bodywarmer and the quilted women's bodywarmer with a tailored fit. For a striking team look there's the two-tone quilted bodywarmer.

Softshell

A smooth, slightly stretchy outer fabric with fleece on the inside. Windproof and water-repellent, and without chambers – so a calm, large area for your logo. For example, the 2-layer unisex softshell bodywarmer.

Reversible and crossover

The reversible soft bodywarmer can be worn on both sides; you choose which side becomes the outside with the logo. The crossover bodywarmer combines different fabrics in one model and has a sporty look.

Where does the logo go on a bodywarmer?

  • Left chest8 to 10 cm wide, the standard spot for a company logo.
  • Backup to about 25 cm wide. On a softshell bodywarmer it can be large and sharp; on a quilted model we take the chambers into account.
  • Right chestfor a name, job title or second logo.

There are no sleeves, so the chest and back do all the work. On a quilted bodywarmer we prefer to place a chest logo within a single chamber. If your logo is taller than the chamber is wide, we'll advise a different layout in the proof, or a spot on the back, where the chambers are often wider.

Cut vinyl or DTF on a bodywarmer?

Both techniques are transfers that are pressed onto the fabric with heat, without a screen or preparation. Quilted bodywarmers usually have a thin nylon or polyester outer fabric; we press these at a low temperature, so the filling doesn't get flattened and the fabric doesn't shine.

  • Cut vinylcrisp and opaque, sharp down to small lettering, ideal for a logo in one or two colours. Choose from 104 vinyl colours; silver or gold on a black bodywarmer looks calm and refined, fluorescent stands out for roadside work.
  • DTF transferfull colour, for logos with many colours, gradients or a photo. Also works on dark fabric and for a single item.

We print bodywarmers for construction and installation companies, gardeners, delivery staff, cleaning companies and shop staff, but also for football and hockey clubs, scouting groups and volunteers at events. Companies from the area, such as from Dukenburg, Wijchen or Beuningen, often pop in to feel the different fillings before dressing a whole team.

Washing

Wash a printed bodywarmer inside out with the zip closed, at the temperature on the wash label. A quilted model can often go in the tumble dryer on a low setting, with a couple of tennis balls to help the filling become fluffy again – do check the label first. Never iron over the print.

Can I have one bodywarmer printed?

Yes, you can order from us from 1 piece. We press with cut vinyl or a DTF transfer, which doesn't require a screen or preparation. So a single bodywarmer with your name or logo is perfectly possible.

Can you print a quilted bodywarmer?

Yes. We press at a low temperature so the filling doesn't get flattened. We prefer to place the logo within a single quilted chamber; in the digital proof you'll see exactly how that looks.

How big can my logo be on the back?

As a guideline, up to about 25 cm wide, depending on size and model. On a softshell bodywarmer it can be large and even, on a quilted model we adjust the height to the chambers.

Can I come to Nijmegen to view bodywarmers?

Yes, you're welcome in our workshop at In de Betouwstraat 40, in the heart of Nijmegen. You can feel the fillings and fabrics, compare vinyl colours and look together at where your logo will look best.

Do you also deliver bodywarmers outside Nijmegen?

Yes. You can collect your printed bodywarmers in the centre of Nijmegen or have them delivered, also outside the city. You choose the option that suits you best when completing your order.

How do I wash a printed bodywarmer?

Inside out, zip closed, at the temperature on the wash label. Quilted models can often go in the tumble dryer on a low setting, so the filling puffs up again. Don't iron over the print and don't use harsh stain removers on it.

Can I have a bodywarmer printed with a name for each employee?

Yes. You could, for example, put the company logo on the left chest and a name per person on the right chest. Pass on the names with your order; in the proof you'll check everything before we press.
